Re: Tell us about your set up

Right, after being conned by a Russian (for God's sake - how stupid can I be!!?) this is my kit:

RMV Concept Series Brazilian Maple (Bapeva) shells, with black hoops and carbon-fibre nutboxes and mounting hardware;

22 x 20 Bass drum, Remo Ambassador Ebony batter head

8, 10, 12, 14 Rack Toms, 16 Floor Tom all with single-ply coated Remo Ambassador heads and RMV clear single-ply resos;

RMV Concept Maple 14 x 5 thin-shell Snare, RMV single ply coated batter, Ambassador Hazy reso;

A really rare Arbiter AT maple 14 x 6 1/2 (12-ply!!) Snare, Remo Ambassador coated batter, Ambassador Hazy reso;

Cymbal stands are a mix of RMV black Hardtech titanium and Gibraltar booms,

Gibraltar Intruder Direct Drive double pedal;

Cymbals:

Istanbul 13" hats;

Zildjian 14" A custom hats;

8-10-12" Wuhan Splashes and 14 and 18" Chinas;

16" Zildjian A custom Crash;

17" A custom Crash:

17" Wuhan S-Series crash

20" Zildjian Light Ride

22" Wuhan S-Series Med-Hvy Ride

And before you say it, yes, the Wuhans complement the Zildjians in any context.

Have a good drumming day!

Re: Tell us about your set up

Hey folks..don't get on these boards too often, but that is subject to change..
I know, your thinking..'Thanks for the warning'. right?

Anyway, I ended up selling my Yamaha SCBs to help my daughter out who had a financial need.
I kept these however.. My Custom Classic Pro Birch Jazz kit. I like to refer to it as my mini might set up.

Here's some pix I took in my personal practice space.

Specs: CC pro Jazz 4 pc. in Piano Black lacquer. (8x12", 14x14", 5x14", 14x18")
Yamaha 780 series HW, Gibralrar boom arms, Flying Dragon single pedal,
DW Airlift throne, Vater 5A wood tips, Zildjian cymbal mallets, Promark.

Zildjian, amici, Sabian, Stagg.

Here's some out door shots..same kit w/ all amici Vintage series cymbals.

Re: Tell us about your set up

This is the second time I've seen the Custom Classic Pro, and both times I've been impressed -- it is a sweet looking set, even without the cymbal invasion. What are those shells made of, PearlVSX?

Re: Choosing the right Wedding Dresses

The abovementioned spammer entered the site at 1:49 CST, left posts in two different places, and was permanently banned from the site and posts expunged by 2:14.

To help the moderators make this happen faster, click on the white triangle with a red border and a black exclamation point at the top of the spam, and inform the moderators of the spam. We will get word of the spam faster that way, and we will don capes and unsheath wands immediately.

By quoting the spam as you did, you have given the spammer a third post on the forum, one which I will now eradicate. We can use all the help we can get. Thank you.

Re: Choosing the right Wedding Dresses

No problem. Thanks.
Besides, if a female drummer wanted to play at her own wedding, this wouldn't really be spam, would it?

No, she would then be a Ham. Without the Pineapples of course.

What would the Groom play? Canasta's probably?
