If your drumming hero heard you play...

So..

If you're drumming hero could watch you play, what do you think he/she would say?

Then, do you think you would care about what they said?

Mine would probably say "You're trying too hard... stop it"

would I care? about 10 minutes ago I would have said yes, but the more I think about it the less I feel I would care that much. It's a personality thing, I'd take it into consideration though.

When music becomes anything but fun you have lost the whole reason for playing! And by the way what the hell is baws?

I'd never dispute that!

Baws... I wasn't sure if I should say balls or not so I put baws instead... Plus the word 'baws' amuses me ha

You get to a point where you do what you do, and you realize some people like it and some don't. Even a hero might not "get" your style. You have to develop your own identity.

I have talked with my main two, one has a focused style and the other has a wildly perfict style, they are both very excepting people, so I don't think I would get negitive feedback.

Some of my fav drummers are teachers so I'm sure they would be very understanding of any short comings. Any that aren't teachers I hope would still be very understanding or they probably wouldn't stay my hero to long. It would probably kill the dream. I guess thats why some people say you shouldn't meet your heros

He'd say what the hell are you doing playing by yourself in a garage out in the country. You should be jamming with others and playing for an audience. And he'd be right!
