What is a good drummer?

It's our job to be able to follow the beats and consult during the practice seasions.

Sometime it aint easy, but if you want to stay with the band, you have to find the way.

We have a saying, for example:

I am in PR time, and we take our time as it is.

I shall remain.

Ahw yes, Jim was one of the greatest.

And then came the tech generation that mixed things up.

Roads have to be paved before them.

We are the Jurasic's for them.

even though i work to click for obvious reasons, there are times that i will not when it comes to new ideas, i will look into the guitarist for his riff then take charge of the pace, on most occassions ive been 1 or 2 seconds out what i mean is at rehersals weve recorded to see any time difference and thats been it. so its not about bad time keeping and playing the beat as it were got me?

and what about some examples do any of you guys have recorded work?
im quite to put some examples here.
ive also come acroos some reasonable budget mikes to get not too bad sounds for kit.
but again im very old fashioned i still record analog and do not use a computer or quantise any drum tracks. it has to be real for me!
