Question Stripped Down Setup (NEED RESPONSE FAST)

This friday I'm doing a small show with some friends, who all play exclusively acoustic instruments. In the past we've played places where they can be micd so it's not a problem, but this show is a house show so no mics. I have a cajon as well, so I need to find a way to strip down my kit so that it can be played quietly and is smaller, or, I need t find a good way to adapt all of the songs to cajon rather quickly. I could really use some suggestions here! thanks!!!

You can use a drum screen:
DrumPerfect.com: DrumPerfect STD 6.0 x 5 Drum Shield

You might also try using brushes of some type instead of a traditional stick:
Vater Monster Brush | GuitarCenter

Soft felt beater on bass drum, heavily muffled snare (tape felt or even wallet to the batter head), some masking tape on the ride, play hihat lightly and just bring a splash cymbal.

How did the gig go? Did you stick with the cajon? I would think a cajon and a hand drum would be a good combination for an acoustic gig, but I prefer drum sets (that's why I joined this forum, to celebrate drumsets and drumset playing).
