I cant seem to get my file loaded on here so I put it a web site along with some pics.

If you dont stop the solo after it is over you will get about 5 more min of some very sstarnge song stuff (I think there is something wrrong with the computer it was recorded on) so you will hear the very ending of like 3 songs.

The tempo changes a little during the song and I did that intentaly and I am not happy with the ending (and in case your wondering it ends abruply I droped my stick and just decided that I would end it there.

hope you like it.

and eat me gyutae hahahahahahahahahaha

Well, here it is...
http://www.drumsetconnect.com/forums...p?do=file&id=4

The sound quality was just horrible on my computer mic.. it was just a big gargle of noise when i did anything besides a straight groove.. it's pretty sloppy as well..

oh well... let the voting begin!

I downloaded both files..

sound quality-wise, full metal's was a lot clearer although his wasn't all that great either

full metal: good grooving in the beginning.. are you using a double bass? I also liked the transitions to the different parts of the solo.. a nice array of chops with some solid feel.. what band do you play for?

gyutea: your audio was really cloudy and it's really hard to make out what you're doing. but from what I could hear, you had a solid groove going but your transitioning was not as smooth as full metal. Also some parts were a bit shaky on rhythm. And at the end, you could have been doing something crazy that may have won you this battle, but we can't hear it.. soooo

my vote goes to : full metal

I want everyone to rember that I didnt recored this for this drum battle.
It was recorded for me to see what areas I need to work on.
and to just post on here to let everyone know who I am and what im bringing to the table.

next time I get called out I will recored somthing just for this but I have to say this is the least of my skills.

I work a lot on my chops just for snare solos and that isnt even a part of whats on here.
