new but not

I've been registered to this forum for about a year, but never bothered to read it or anything because at the time I just wanted to know some information about a Slingerland I had (still do have). Anyways, now I'm a much better drummer and I now have a much better drumset so I think I'll start at least looking at this forum, if not posting.

Hey Qwerk,
Glad to have you back nonetheless! Hopefully you'll be able to learn a lot and be a part of this drumming community. Welcome!

Welcome to the forum Qwerk, good to have you on board.

So do you still have your Slingerland?

Yeah, but it's a peice of junk. I guess it's not too bad, but it's a "beginner's drumset" and it's not in overly good condition. Plus the giant toms annoy me. I'll have to post a picture some time, it's insane how big they are. It's not a classic slingerland either, it was made in the last 5 years. Slingerland is still in operation, I believe, but Gretch owns it.

Well they're big toms, but how do they sound? Deeper I'm guessing?
