Re: ringing in the ears

It's a problem with ear ringing.

It can also cause Vertigo if not taken care of medically.

See a doctor for a prescription.

Re: ringing in the ears

I turned 63 in October and have been playing since I was 10. I record a lot and have found the Sennheiser HD 280 headphones as an answer to both sounding great and for isolation of unwanted outside sounds. I tried many headphones and for the price and performance, these cannot be beat. I bought an additional pair after using the first pair for a couple of weeks.
I bought these at Guitar Center about seven years ago and have had no problems with either pair.

Re: ringing in the ears

Vertigo is another thing I am all too familiar with. It renders one incapable of walking and I must sit still with my eyes closed until it passes, which is usually a number of hours. Since I reduced my salt intake and began taking Hydrochlorothiazide I have been vertigo free for almost two years. Before that, I was experiencing vertigo at a rate of once per week which was driving me crazy.
