hey from canada

Hey guys, it says i should introduce myself so here it is lol. I'm kevin ego i'm 16 years old i've been playing since i was 7 years old, i use gretsch drums but am saving up for a custom set not sure from who yet, maybe DW, trs, shine, not sure yet. i use sabian cymbals and many different kinds of sticks(it depends how much money i have when i break all mine) but my favourite is pro-mark 5A natural. I guess you could say i'm a studio musician, i play at a studio called bunker productions, as of late i have been trying to get some endorsements under my belt, but it's not the easiest thing in the world. i eat sleep and breathe drums and i have for a long time and this is what i want to do for the rest of my life.

Mr. Kevin, I started when I was 8, now I'm 57 pushing 58 this year. You have to be really good to be able to get endorsements.
Send some DVD copies of your talent to all the drum companies. Even try the promoters of NAMM.

I bought a Gretsch custom kit. I was lucky enough to get it before it got to the store, but I still had to buy it through the store (George's Drum Shop in Ohio).

George might be able to get you some endorsement.
Email to gerogesdrumshop.com

Some times they have drum competitions and select winners.

Good luck.

Re: hey from canada

Kevin I'm SLINGERLAND IN LAS VEGAS nice to meet you I've been playing 42 years. I went to a drumshop today to get a new bottom skin and new snare wires and was talking to the clerk and he said something that you may be interested in. He said that since DW started making their own shells the Drums just don't sound that great anymore and that if you could get a DW set that was made in the 90's you would have a great sounding set. He said that in his opinion the set to get would be a Pearl Reference Set or Sonor I just thought you might want to know, just in case you get rich over night.Anyway if you have any questions just ask everyone here helps GOOD LUCK SLINGERLAND

Mr. Sligerland, I did not get your message.
I went to the user CP and check the message list and there wasn't anything there. The forum only allows messages if they are on the Buddy List. I'll have to set up the buddy list unless you do not wish so.

Update: It was the way I had to setup the User PC. Try to sent the message again please.

Re: hey from canada

Kevin, if your a prodigious drummer, you may also try sending copies of your talent right here on the forum. who knows if maybe some talent scouts checkout this forum.
Also there is YouTube to display, and even some aired medias like TV shows or record labels.

Perhaps Electric Lady Recording Studios in New York City.
Do some research within this area.

Just a thought.
Good Luck and many blessings.
