Old new guy...

...or new old guy. I've been away from the drumming world for a good ten years and have been promising myself I'd pick it up again. This seems like a good place to start. I was never as serious about drumming as I would like to be (time, money, etc...) but I see this as a good chance to start fresh.

Re: Old new guy...

I've been drumming as a hobby for the past 50+ years myself. Too much competition here in NYC for the Pros.

If I knew back then that the economy was going to flop, I would have place the money into a retirement fund instead of buying a new kit.

The 60's and 70's were the best times to make it to the top. But I here that it's lonely up there.
