And I thought that drummers were only concerned with timing music wise.

So if a train left from Cleveland, Ohio eastward and a plane left LAX at 3pm, What time is it?
Never mind.

Welcome to the forum sibling drummer and happy drumming.

It would be 6pm here, I think, and I suck at math. 44 years old and I can't do Chinese algebra; but figuring rhythmic patterns, not a problem. Thanks for the warm welcome Bud'! Hope to talk with you again. L8r!

I'm 58 and forgot how to use an abacus.

But I still remember how to solve electronic theorems.

Insanity comes quietly to the structured mind.

Hey guy! I thought musicians were suppose to sleep till 1 or 2pm. I am getting ready to finish up 2 term papers as we speak. 44 and just getting ready to graduate from college, who would have thunk it? Clinical Psychology, screw the math; and as for the insanity, I crossed that bridge long ago.

I remember solving the equation for "Z". It took 15 pages with a slide-rule.

There were no electronic calculators back then.

Plus or minus 20% variations were allowed. That's +10% or -10% in my book.

Re: www.postalproductions.com/default.html

OK so I did college after marriage and two kids myself, while working rotating shifts. It's not easy being in college with a group of other guys older than me. The job sent us all together because there was a shortage of Stationary Engineers in those days.

Yup, plenty of jobs and not enough workers qualified. Quite the opposite of what today's all about.

The music sounds good, but going "Postal" is funny. A little fast for me, but tastefully done.

Happy Drumming, best of luck my friend. Education is the backbone of life.

Yeah, I guess the addage about old dogs not being able to learn new tricks has been disproved. The website that you saw is just a brochure I have placed to explain what Postal Productions is all about, and somewhat to explain what capabilities the actual site will have. I have to keep myself in a place of chaos to feel comfee: Job, school, kids, bills, house, personal project, wifey, Gotta stay busy, busy, busy!! Got 13 more months til' I graduate! I plan on posting the progress of the recording sessions on my real website when it is finally finished, right now it is still being built. My best friend is a mail carrier, and he is always talking about going postal, hence the name and the slogan. Glad you liked it. L8R
