i dunno how serious you are about a double pedal, but the Pearl
Demon Drive is a VERY serious pedal. its comparable to Axis
and Trick pedals, as well as DW
iron cobra is a good pedal. i found i didnt like it when i first played it, but using it once a month at music stores and such its kind of grown on me. it may be my next double pedal. tama
has some really cool innovations, like an attachment to keep your hi hat pedal and slave pedal linked to eachother.
also, look at this:
Cobra Clutch | Hi-Hat Stands | Musician's Friend
is a great pedal company, i own a DW
7002 pedal. i would call it an higher quality beginner pedal, but DW
makes 5000 and 9000 pedals, which are much better.
there are other pearl
, and Mapex
pedals that are very good.
basically, you get what you pay for with pedals. you may not need something really expensive yet. i have had my pedal for about a year now and its still great for me.
