I've just signed up and decided to introduce myself. I've been playing drums for 11 years. I've studied music for 2 years and have a certificate 4. The non Australians might not know what the is. It's not quite a diploma, just a little under it.
I love heavy metal, but I'm into a variety of styles. I can get into jazz, blues and classical. I really like folk music and enjoy playing the bodhran. I have an 18" and a 10" which give me untold amounts of joy. As for metal I like some of the more brutal stuff like Terrorizer, Vile and of course CC. Some people bag CC but that's their problem. I also get into a variety of metal styles such as power, prog, thrash and traditional. I really love Led Zeppelin!
I've joined the forum in order to share advice for drumming techniques. I've just started my own drum lessons and am looking to open up a store front soon in my area. If anyone has any advice on teaching I'd love to hear it.
I like writing articles and making lessons and have my collection of drumming stuff located at onlinedrumworld.com - Where Drummers Go Online!
