Vintage Ludwig "Silver Sparkle" Drum Kit for sale!

Contact: WFStephens@gmail.com

Vintage Ludwig Silver Sparkle Drums - 3 pc. set

***PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER TO ME.****

Asking Price: $1500 or best offer (includes brand new cases)

I have pictures to share!

Vintage:
===========
1959-1960 (prior to the introduction of serial numbers).

Appraisal:
=========
A well-regarded vintage drum appraiser has described these drums as "in exceptional condition." According to the appraisal, the original logo (calfskin) BD head adds extra collectibility and value. THE APPRAISER VALUED THIS KIT AT $2400!

Extras:
=======
I have bought BRAND NEW "Tuxedo" bags for these three drums, which I will include at NO EXTRA COST. Still in pristine condition, with value of at least $200.

Drumkit Specifics:
=================
- BD 22" heads & 16" depth (measuring from top of top rim to bottom of bottom rim).
- FT 16" head & 16.5" depth (measuring same).
- TT 13" head & 9.5" depth (measuring same).
- Includes cymbal "L"-shaped arm which attaches to BD.
- BD has ORIGINAL CALFSKIN w/ cursive "Ludwig" logo.
- FT & TT have vintage Ludwig "Playon Plastic" heads in great shape.
- No bubbling at seams.
- Negligible discoloration/nicks on the rims.

Other notes:
==============
I personally really love the very old “WF Ludwig” keystone on the BD. The kit still sounds great, and my drum hero Joe Morello once played on this very kit in Michigan! (I know that doesn't add any monetary value, but it is fun to know.)
