Amazing rock cymbal that would definitely work for Mahavishnu Orchestra or Naked City type stuff (read: loud). Has a great stick sound, especially with small sticks and a deft touch. Can be quiet. Has an absolutely stunning, full bell.
Has a little edge damage and a few nicks, however, I have owned this cymbal since December 2003 and it is structurally sound. There are no cracks whatsoever. I think it would take a drop from the Empire State Building to hurt this pie.
I don't have a gram weight, but it's medium/heavy. It's not gong-ish and it's not so dry that there isn't any wash. The crash is loud and may require big sticks.
