Did you have a chance to check out the website? There are some videos of the drum being played. I never did a lot of quick tuning on the fly stuff. I found a few tuning sweet spots I liked, and used those a lot.
It's got a cool, very unique tone in the medium to higher tunings. Really POPS!!!!

If you bought one new when he was still making them, they were expensive.
I think I paid $600.00 beans for mine!
Well worth it though. It did what I needed it to do. POP REAL LOUD AND CLEAR!!!! Had to compete with a very loud band at the time!!!!!!
I'm a little dude, so I needed some extra fire power!!! RK
